  • Lindsey & Trey Simon

    PRESIDENT & VICE PRESIDENT

    Meet Lindsey & Trey Simon! They are the founders of Two Blue Butterflies and the proud parents of three boys, Hudson, Noah and Blake. Two Blue Butterflies was created in honor of their twin boys, Noah and Blake. Due to early complications they lost Noah at 18 weeks. Blake fought for 6 more weeks and was delivered at exactly 24 weeks. After 21 days in the NICU, Blake passed away. By creating Two Blue Butterflies, they hope to help NICU parents with the support they need as they face some of life’s most difficult and challenging moments.

    Meet Brandon Marretta! He has been Trey’s best friend since second grade. Brandon is a proud husband to his wife, Shannon, and loving father to his daughters, Savannah and Micah. He’s eager to help serve and provide support to NICU families in their most challenging times, in order to honor and preserve Noah and Blake’s memories forever.

  • Christina Plaisance

    DIRECTOR

    Meet Christina Plaisance! She has been best friends with Lindsey since high school. They even lived together through all of their college years! Christina is a first grade teacher. She is a wife to Philip and a mother of twin girls: Addison (Addie) and Ella who are seven. She also has a three year old daughter named Emerson (Emmie). She also has experience being a mama with high risk pregnancies and NICU time. She spent over 6 weeks on hospital bedrest with her twin girls. Her twin girls also spent 8 weeks in the NICU. Christina is excited to help bring comfort and love to those during their most emotional and uncertain times in their lives. As well as help to keep the memory of our sweet Noah and Blake Simon alive.

    DIRECTOR

    Meet Kelli Smith! She’s Trey’s oldest sister and lives with her husband Brian and their two boys, Cole (12) and Luke (10), just outside of Charlotte, NC. She was blessed to have spent time with Blake in the NICU and during those days, she witnessed first-hand the reality of what NICU parents go through on a daily basis. She also gained a tremendous appreciation for NICU doctors and nurses during this time. She’s proud to be a part of this foundation that will help others while keeping the memory of her nephews alive.
